Chance meetings either in or from Korea.

I remember bumping into one of my roommates in Taegu some five years after I last saw him at Eastern Connecticut State University. Just yesterday I had the good chance to meet up with an excellent human being I served with in Korea. I was providing support to the Command and General Staff College at Ft Leavenworth, KS, when a one of my former platoon leaders, now a major attending the college recognized me and introduced himself. I sincerely wish I had more time to have had a coffee with him, but I was pressed for time.

It's good to see people I admire and respect doing well and getting ahead in the world. Ryan, you'll make a kick-ass battalion in the near future.

I met Korussian when I was travelling in Thailand last year. We had signed up for the same day-trip through a local tour agency, and found ourselves sitting beside each other on the minivan. It didn't take long before the conversation got around to 'Do you post on Dave's...', followed by a bit of hesitation as we both wondered if we were friends or enemies.

Thankfully the guy's a class act.

After I left SK, Tommynomad & I finally met in person when he was relief teaching at the school I work for (he was doing his PhD at the time).
